What is the RDL DC-2W?
The RDL DC-2W is a white powder-coated steel chassis that holds one or two Decora-style products, such as RDL remote controls and connector plates, on a tabletop or wall. It brings volume controls, source selectors and input plates to a conference table, lectern or equipment cabinet without cutting a wall box.
How does it work?
An included mounting plate is fastened to the tabletop or to a vertical surface such as a cabinet or wall. The chassis then slides onto the plate into a locked position and is secured with screws. This is the white version; RDL offers the DC series in white, black and gray, with gray chosen to complement RDL stainless steel remote controls and plates. All DC-series boxes are welded steel with a high-quality powder-coated finish. For a single-device footprint, see the DC-1W; for a fixed wall installation, the SMB-2W surface mount box takes the same Decora devices.
