What is the RDL D-TPSL1A?
The RDL D-TPSL1A is a Format-A single-pair sender that accepts a stereo line source on a mini-jack or dual RCA jacks and sends it as mono over twisted pair. It is a compact way to add a consumer audio input at a wall plate.
How does it work?
The unbalanced inputs accept standard -10 dBV signals and are summed to mono. A rear switch selects which pair, A, B or C, the module feeds, so two other single-pair senders or one two-pair sender can share the cable. The power pair and all three audio pairs pass through both rear-panel RJ45 jacks, and the module runs from remote twisted-pair power or a fused local input. The D-TPSL1A has a white front-panel laminate with gray lettering that matches RDL Decora-style remote controls. Receive the signal with an RDL D-TPR1A and mount the sender in an RDL WB-1U wall box.
