The RCU2S-PRO places a Head End (HE) unit at the codec or USB host and a Camera End (CE) unit at the Logitech camera location. A single CAT5e or CAT6 cable between these units carries USB 2.0/UVC video, bi-directional audio, and camera power — replacing three separate cable runs with one structured cabling path. The PRO cable kit configuration provides the correct camera-side connections for both the Logitech Group and the Logitech PTZ Pro 2.
Power delivery at the camera end supports 5V and 12V DC, so a separate local power supply at the camera mount is not required. The bi-directional audio channel supports microphone signal transport compatible with Logitech camera audio features.
