Product Description

Large format PTZ cameras carry bigger bases and more weight than huddle-room cameras, and they need a wall mount sized to match. The RCM-LCM anchors a large round-base camera to the wall over a standard 2-gang electrical box, routing cabling through the wall and concealing the connections behind the mount plate. The included cover fits over the wall plate to hide the gang box and remaining cabling, and a break-out tab at the bottom of the cover provides a pass-through option for surface-run cables when in-wall routing is not possible.

Like the rest of the RCM Series, the mount is designed to conceal the camera-end (CE) modules of SCT camera extension kits — RC4, RC5, RCU2S, RCU2E, and RCU3SL — so a camera extended from a remote codec or production rack over category cable needs no visible electronics at the camera position. That makes the RCM-LCM a practical companion to SCT extension platforms in larger rooms, auditoriums, and broadcast studios where the camera sits far from the equipment rack.
