Product Description
The Cisco Quad Camera is the intelligent speaker-tracking camera used with Cisco Room Kit Pro and Codec Pro systems, and wall placement directly above or below the display is the standard configuration. The RCM-CQC anchors the Quad Camera to the wall over a 2-gang electrical box, routing cabling through the wall and concealing the connections behind the mount plate. The included cover fits over the wall plate to hide the gang box and any remaining cabling, and a break-out tab at the bottom of the cover provides a pass-through option for surface-run cables when in-wall routing is not possible.
Like the rest of the RCM Series, the mount is designed to conceal the camera-end (CE) modules of SCT camera extension kits — RC4, RC5, RCU2S, RCU2E, and RCU3SL — so a Quad Camera extended from a remote codec over category cable needs no visible electronics at the camera position. That makes the RCM-CQC a natural companion to the SCT RC8 extension platform used for the Cisco Quad Camera in larger rooms.
