The Sound Control Technologies RC8-CQC-F2 is a camera extension kit for Cisco Crossview conference room deployments using the Cisco Quad Camera. The RC8 Gen2 RemoteCam8 platform carries HDMI video, IP control, bidirectional audio with ARC (HDMI), and 12V QuadCam power over a single structured cable run. The kit includes the RC-RCF2 Crossview rack shelf for head-end integration.
Product Description
The RC8-CQC-F2 provides the RC8 Gen2 extension kit paired with the RC-RCF2 rack shelf, purpose-built for Cisco Crossview system installations. The head-end and camera-end modules extend HDMI, IP control, bidirectional audio including HDMI ARC, and 12V power to the Cisco Quad Camera over structured cabling. The RC-RCF2 mounts cleanly in a standard rack alongside Cisco Crossview equipment. IP control passthrough enables PTZ camera commands from the Crossview system to the Quad Camera. HDMI DA at the head end supports signal distribution requirements in Crossview deployments. This kit does not include the RC-CUBBY-CQC camera cubby; for a complete project pack with cubby, see the RC8-CQC-F2-K. Suitable for installations where a separate camera-end enclosure is not required or is specified independently.
