The Sound Control Technologies RC4-E4C is a commercial-grade HDMI camera extension kit for the Poly EagleEye Cube camera used with Poly RealPresence Group Series 300, 500, and 700 codecs and the Poly G7500. Using SCTLink™ technology, the RC4-E4C extends video, RS-232 control, and 12V DC camera power up to 100 meters over a single CAT cable. The kit includes camera and head-end modules plus a Poly-specific cable set, enabling plug-and-play installation between the EagleEye Cube and the codec with no programming required.

Product Description

The RC4-E4C targets Poly videoconferencing deployments where the EagleEye Cube camera needs to be positioned at distance from the RealPresence Group Series or G7500 codec — for example, a display-side camera with the codec in an equipment rack or credenza in another part of the room or building. The RC4-CE camera module connects to the EagleEye Cube, the RC4-HE head-end module connects to the Poly codec, and a single installer-supplied CAT cable carries video, RS-232 control, and 12V DC power up to 100 meters between them. The kit includes the RC4-CE camera module, RC4-HE head-end/codec module, the camera and head-end cable set configured for the EagleEye Cube and Poly codec interface, and the WPS-12 power supply. Camera control from the Poly codec passes transparently over the link, so far-end camera control and presets operate normally. For kits supporting the older Poly EagleEye IV camera, see the RC4-E4P.
