Product Description

The RC4-APA uses two modules—the RC4-CE at the camera and the RC4-HE at the codec or head end—to transport three signal types over one CAT cable run up to 100 meters. HDMI video travels from camera to codec; RS-232 Visca control travels from codec to camera for full PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) operation; and 12V DC power travels from the head end to the camera, eliminating a separate power run to the camera mount location. The kit includes AVer-specific cables: RCC-C001-0.3M (HDMI to HDMI camera cable), PPC-022-0.3M (RJ11 to 5.5x2.1mm DC plug power cable), RCC-C005-0.3M (RJ45 to 8-pin DIN control cable), RCC-H001-1.0M (HDMI head-end cable), RCC-H010-2.0M (DB9F to DB9F serial head-end cable), and the WPS-12 power supply. This combination covers video, control, and power without additional adapters.
