The Sound Control Technologies RC-SDA5+URM is a RemoteCam5 extension kit configured for PTZ cameras with rectangular bases from Aver, Lumens, Marshall, PTZ Optics, and Sony. It packages the RC-SDA5+ BYOD Camera Bridge with rectangular-base camera cabling to deliver HDMI-to-USB3 conversion and UVC-to-IP-Visca PTZ control translation over CAT cable. AV integrators can order a single SKU covering the complete head-end and cabling assembly for rectangular-base PTZ camera installations requiring IP Visca control.
The kit replaces the RC5-HE head-end module and works with existing RC5-CE extension modules without new cabling.

The RC-SDA5+URM targets deployments where PTZ cameras have a rectangular base form factor and use IP Visca for PTZ control. The RC-SDA5+ bridge accepts HDMI video and audio from the camera, outputs USB3 to the host, and converts UVC PTZ commands to IP Visca for camera control over CAT cable to the RC5-CE extension module.
