Q-SYS requires two licenses for every VisionSuite AI deployment with the VSA-100: a perpetual feature license (SLVS-AI-P) to activate the system, and a term-limited update and support license to maintain update eligibility. The SLVS-AI-3YR provides three years of update coverage, ensuring the VSA-100 and Q-SYS VisionSuite AI platform can receive firmware updates, software improvements, and new feature releases from QSC during the coverage period. This is particularly important for deployments in UC-certified environments — including Microsoft Teams Rooms and Google Meet — where platform certification updates may require VisionSuite firmware revisions. At the end of the three-year term, the VisionSuite AI system continues to operate normally at the current firmware version; a new term license must be purchased to restore update eligibility. The SLVS-AI-3YR is activated via QSC's Nodelock licensing model and must be paired with the SLVS-AI-P on the same Q-SYS Core processor.
