The Peerless-AV SF640 is a low-profile universal flat wall mount for 32–50" displays, rated to 150 lb, with horizontal and vertical post-installation adjustment and tamper-resistant security fasteners installed using the included security tool.
Product Description
The SF640 SmartMount Universal Flat Wall Mount is the security-fastener variant of Peerless-AV's SF640-series mounts, designed for installations in public-access environments where tamper resistance is a requirement alongside display mounting performance. Its ultra-slim profile places the screen just 1.3" from the wall, appropriate for digital signage in retail spaces, hospitality corridors, transportation venues, and institutional settings.
The SF640 shares the same installation platform as the SF640P: Hook-and-Hang system with Easy-Glide adaptor brackets for single-person mounting, up to 6" horizontal lateral shift for post-installation centering, and 0.3" per-bracket vertical adjustment for fine leveling. The distinction is that the SF640's fasteners require the included security tool for installation and removal, deterring unauthorized display removal in locations accessible to the public.
The mount accommodates VESA patterns from 400 x 400 to 450 x 405 mm and supports portrait-to-landscape mounting options to increase installation versatility. The open wall plate design retains access to the wall cavity for cable routing. UL listed and tested to four times its stated load capacity, the SF640 meets the structural and documentation standards required for commercial AV projects. Installers requiring Phillips head hardware should select the SF640P variant.
