The Peerless-AV IBA2AC is a large in-wall metal storage and cable management box that creates organized, clutter-free AV installations by routing low-voltage cables and housing components cleanly behind flat panel displays.
Product Description
The IBA2AC recessed cable and storage management box is engineered to address one of the most common pain points in professional flat panel installations: cable clutter and component accessibility. By creating additional space behind the display, it allows integrators to route all low-voltage signal and data cables through the wall rather than along the surface, producing a finished look that requires no external cable covers or raceways.
Constructed from heavy-gauge cold-rolled steel, the IBA2AC installs between 16" wood stud centers when positioned vertically, and can also be oriented horizontally to accommodate different wall framing configurations. The included duplex power module — a 15A/125V receptacle with surge protection and NEMA 5-15R compatibility — provides in-wall power access for connected AV equipment. Cable ties and a grommet are included to keep internal routing orderly.
The low-profile form factor is designed to sit flush behind even the thinnest Peerless-AV mounts. Combined with a Peerless-AV wall mount, the IBA2AC creates a fully integrated installation where no components, cables, or wall hardware are visible from the front. The product is RoHS certified and backed by a 5-year limited warranty, making it appropriate for long-term commercial deployments.
