The MOD-ACF2 is a black accessory cover designed specifically for the Peerless-AV MOD-CPF2 square ceiling plate, providing a clean, finished appearance for Modular Series pole mount installations at the ceiling interface.
Product Description
The Peerless-AV Modular Series is built around a 2-inch (50mm) diameter pole system that can be cut to length on the job site, making it a practical choice for both new installations and retrofits. At the ceiling interface, the MOD-CPF2 square ceiling plate anchors the pole to the structure, but the hardware and mounting details visible at the ceiling can detract from the finished appearance of the installation. The MOD-ACF2 accessory cover addresses this by snapping over the ceiling plate to conceal the structural hardware.
Beyond aesthetics, the MOD-ACF2 provides a secure covering that reduces access to the ceiling plate fasteners, which is relevant in commercial and public-access spaces where maintaining a tamper-resistant installation is important. The cover is constructed to match the dimensions of the MOD-CPF2 ceiling plate at 8 inches wide by 8 inches deep, adding only 1.2 inches of height to the assembly.
The MOD-ACF2 is RoHS compliant, manufactured in the United States, and carries Peerless-AV's 5-year limited warranty. It is also compatible with the Modular Series Floor Plate when a matching finished cover is desired at floor-level pole terminations.
