The Sharp MA491-IR is a 49-inch Wide Color Gamut 4K UHD professional display with pre-installed 10-point infrared touch through clear tempered glass, designed for interactive digital signage, retail point-of-engagement, and corporate kiosk deployments where a mid-size touch display with accurate color reproduction is required. The MA-series platform combines a WCG panel, SpectraView Engine color calibration, and Intel SDM expandability at 500 cd/m2 brightness.
Product Description
The MA491-IR uses the same 49-inch U-IPS WCG panel as the MA491 at 3840x2160 with 0.28mm pixel pitch, 500 cd/m2, and 8000:1 contrast (local dimming). The pre-installed IR touch overlay supports 10-point simultaneous touch through clear tempered glass for interactive signage, kiosk menus, and self-service applications. SpectraView Engine provides hardware color management with full gamma and color space control. Intel SDM slot (Small and Large) and Raspberry Pi CM4 support allow optional compute integration. HDMI and DisplayPort daisy-chain loopout, failover input detect, and NaViSet Administrator 2 LAN management complete the commercial specification.
