The RSH4S4MW addresses both dimensions. Its wide-format faceplate accepts chassis that exceed the cutout limits of standard-width RSH4S shelves, while the 14" depth (Middle Atlantic's M depth code) keeps the shelf compact enough for shallow equipment racks and furniture-mounted enclosures.

Ordering is straightforward: identify the component you intend to mount, and Middle Atlantic cuts the 4U faceplate to match it, referencing a measurement database of more than 8,000 devices.
