Product Overview
The Middle Atlantic MPR-JB863A is an optional junction box that fits on the end of an MPR Series raceway, measuring 8 inches deep by 6 inches wide by 3 inches high. Built from steel with a black finish, it is equipped with electrical knockouts for routing conduit and wiring into the raceway power system. It gives electricians a code-friendly termination point where building power transitions into MPR power distribution.
Product Description
MPR Series raceways distribute power vertically behind equipment walls, displays, and millwork, and every raceway run needs a clean point where electrical rough-in meets the raceway. The Middle Atlantic MPR-JB863A junction box provides that transition. It mounts on the end of an MPR raceway and presents standard electrical knockouts, allowing conduit or cable to enter the box and terminate where the raceway circuit connections are made. The 8 x 6 x 3 inch steel enclosure offers generous interior volume for conductors and splices, and the black finish matches the MPR raceway aesthetic when the installation remains visible. This is the wider of the two MPR junction box options: choose the MPR-JB863A when you need the 6-inch-wide box, or the MPR-JB853A when the narrower 5-inch-wide footprint fits the space better. Because the J-box is an optional accessory, it can be added per circuit only where the wiring plan calls for it.
