Product Description
Stock 6-foot power cords create loops of excess cable behind rack equipment, and those loops radiate AC magnetic fields that can couple noise into nearby audio and video lines. The IEC-36X4 addresses both problems: right-sized 36-inch cords eliminate the slack, and the SignalSAFE construction minimizes the disruptive AC magnetic fields the cords themselves produce. The result is a cleaner rear-of-rack wiring field and fewer hum and interference issues to chase during commissioning.
Each cord is constructed of heavy 14-gauge wire for reliable power delivery to rack-mounted components, and the twist-style IEC connector resists the accidental disconnections that plague standard friction-fit IEC inlets.
