In AV rack builds using multiple individually mounted cooling fans, each fan typically requires its own power outlet connection. This can quickly consume outlet positions on PDUs and power strips that are better used for AV equipment. The Middle Atlantic FANCORD-3X1 solves this by providing a single 115V plug that distributes power to three individual fan connectors along a 6-foot cord. The 6-foot length provides adequate reach for routing within standard rack enclosures without strain on the cord. The FANCORD-3X1 is intended for use with individually mounted fans; Middle Atlantic integrated fan tops have factory-installed power cords and do not require this accessory.
