Product Description
The ERK-6FT fan top from Middle Atlantic Products is a 6-inch dual-fan top panel designed for ERK, WMRK, ERK-KD, and SCRK rack enclosures of 35 rack spaces and higher. Mounting two 6-inch fans provides a balance between the high volume of a single large fan (ERK-10FT) and the more distributed coverage of three smaller fans (ERK-4FT). Six-inch fans move more air per revolution than 4-inch fans and can often run at lower speeds for the same airflow, which can reduce acoustic output in installations where fan noise is a consideration. Fans are not included and must be purchased separately. Steel construction with black finish matches standard Middle Atlantic ERK and WMRK rack hardware. Installers should select the ERK-10FT for maximum single-fan airflow, the ERK-4FT for three-fan coverage, or the ERK-6FT when a two-fan, 6-inch configuration is preferred.
