Product Description

Connector panels, patch fields, and termination points often need service long after a rack is loaded, and pulling blank panels with a screwdriver every time slows the work down. The APV-6 hinged access panel solves this by swinging open on one side, giving technicians fast access to the rear of connector panels and other interior wiring. Because the panel is vented, it keeps air moving through the enclosure instead of sealing off a 6 RU section the way a solid blank would.

The panel is fabricated from easily machinable 13-gauge steel, so integrators can punch or drill it for connectors, grommets, or custom pass-throughs when a project calls for it. The black powder coat finish matches Middle Atlantic racks and other rackmount panels in the line. Captive 10-32 thumbscrews secure the panel closed and stay attached to the panel, so there are no loose fasteners to drop into a loaded rack.
