The 5-RS18 bottom runner set serves the same function as the 5-RS20 and 5-RS23 runners but at an 18-inch depth, targeting furniture cabinetry built to that depth specification. In credenzas, lecterns, and custom millwork cabinets at this depth, low-friction runners allow the integrated rack to be extracted for equipment service or cable management work, then returned to the closed position without marks or damage to the furniture interior. The runner material is selected for low friction against common furniture surfaces including melamine, laminate, and wood composites. At 0.25 inches high, the runners sit nearly flush with the cabinet floor, preserving the compact profile of the integrated rack.
