What is the Magewell Pro Capture Dual SDI capture card?
The Magewell Pro Capture Dual SDI is a low-profile PCIe x4 capture card that captures two independent channels of SD, HD, 3G or 2K SDI, each with a bypass loop. It brings two cameras or feeds into one Windows, Linux or Mac workstation for multi-camera recording, streaming and production.
How does the Magewell Pro Capture Dual SDI work?
The card installs in a PCIe x4 slot and accepts two SDI inputs with embedded audio, passing each through its own bypass loop to other equipment. Magewell's universal Pro Capture driver presents each channel as a separate capture device, so production and streaming software can use both at once, and the MWCapture SDK supports custom applications.
What are the key features of the Magewell Pro Capture Dual SDI?
- Two SDI channels — Captures two SD/HD/3G/2K SDI sources independently.
- Bypass loops — Passes both SDI signals on to other equipment.
- Low-profile card — Fits small-form-factor PCs with a PCIe x4 slot.
- Cross-platform — Supports Windows, Linux and macOS.
