Product Overview
The Listen Technologies TP-GMM is a glass mount microphone for TalkPerfect speech transfer systems. It fixes directly to the screen and picks up speech on one side of the glass. Speech transfer installations sit at ticket windows, pharmacy counters and secure reception positions, where the components on the public side take more handling than anything in an equipment rack.
Product Description
A speech transfer system carries speech through a glass or security screen in both directions. The amplifier does the work, but the microphone and speaker are what determine whether it sounds usable.
A glass mount microphone attaches directly to the screen, which keeps the counter surface clear and puts the pickup where the talker naturally faces. It is the least obtrusive option and the one most often specified in retrofit, since it needs no joinery work.
Pair with a TalkPerfect unit or the networked TP-DX-N amplifier. Complete kits bundling amplifier, pod microphones and pod speakers are available where a full position is being specified from scratch.
