Product Overview
The Listen Technologies LA-445-RD is a red breakaway lanyard for Listen portable receivers. The breakaway mechanism releases under load, which is a safety requirement rather than a convenience feature on equipment worn around the neck by the public. Colour coding lets a venue separate receiver pools by channel, language or department without labelling individual units.
Product Description
Anything worn around the neck in a public venue has to release under load. A lanyard that does not is a strangulation hazard, and venues are increasingly asked about it during risk assessment.
The second function is operational. A venue running multiple channels — a floor language plus interpretation — needs staff to hand out the right receiver quickly. Colour coding the lanyard does that faster than reading a label under house lights.
Order colours against the channel plan rather than at random, and pair with metal D-rings where receivers need an attachment point fitting.
