The JBL AM7212/26 is a versatile, high-performance 2-way loudspeaker designed to deliver exceptional audio coverage and clarity in professional sound reinforcement applications. Built with JBL’s 2262H Differential Drive® 12-inch low-frequency driver featuring a dual 3-inch voice coil and dual magnetic gap, it provides powerful, distortion-free bass response. Paired with the 2432H high-frequency compression driver with a 3-inch voice coil and 1.5-inch exit, the speaker ensures crisp, detailed highs across its wide 120° x 60° coverage.
The large Progressive Transition™ waveguide offers precise pattern control and low distortion, maintaining consistent off-axis response for optimal array performance. Its rotatable horn allows installation in either vertical or horizontal orientation, providing maximum flexibility for varied venue layouts. High-slope passive crossovers minimize band overlap, while bi-amp and passive modes with FIR tuning deliver optimized frequency and phase response, coverage consistency, and superior sound quality.
Constructed from 11-ply Finnish birch plywood with a durable DuraFlex™ finish, the AM7212/26 is rugged enough for demanding environments. The trapezoidal enclosure features 15 M10 suspension points for secure rigging and an acoustically transparent steel grille for driver protection. Rated at 600W continuous (2400W peak) in passive mode and capable of producing SPLs up to 139 dB in bi-amp mode, this loudspeaker is suitable for auditoriums, theaters, houses of worship, clubs, and sports facilities. Its MIL-STD-810 and IP-x3 ratings ensure durability and reliable performance in various professional settings.
