The Sonance i8 pairs an 8-inch ultra-long-throw glass fiber cone with a front-firing, laminar flow ported design and a sealed 200-watt RMS amplifier plate, producing rated output from 30Hz to 250Hz (±3dB). Because the amplifier and wireless receiver are built in, the i8 can be positioned anywhere in the room using an optional Sonance Wireless Transmitter with roughly a 30-foot range, avoiding long cable runs from the source equipment. Setup and tuning are handled through the SonARC app, which offers room correction and 16 bands of adjustable EQ to dial in bass response for the space. The cabinet is finished in a high-gloss piano black with a black cloth grille, giving it a furniture-grade look for rooms where the subwoofer will be visible. The i8 is the entry point into the Impact Series, which also includes the larger i10 and i12 cabinets for rooms that need additional output.
