Product Description
This microphone pairs the well-known Sennheiser e 835 dynamic cardioid capsule with an integrated push-to-talk switch for talkback duty. The PTT mechanism lets an operator open the microphone only when speaking, keeping the channel quiet between cues in a broadcast or production environment. 
The cardioid polar pattern rejects off-axis sound to reduce pickup of monitors and room noise. The capsule covers a frequency response of 40 Hz to 16 kHz with a sensitivity of 2.7 mV/Pa, suiting clear speech reproduction. A 3-pin XLR-M connector integrates the microphone into standard balanced audio chains and mixing consoles. The dynamic capsule needs no phantom power and is rugged enough for daily handheld use. The microphone weighs 11.6 oz and includes an MZQ 800 clip and a carrying pouch. It is a wired talkback microphone rather than a wireless system.
