Product Overview
The Extron UCS 504 is a 4x2 collaboration switcher and scaling receiver kit combining a half-rack transmitter and a compact receiver for BYOM (Bring Your Own Meeting) conference rooms. The transmitter switches two HDMI and one USB-C input — with 60W USB-C power delivery — and extends video, audio, and USB over a single CATx cable up to 330 feet (100 m) to the receiver. The receiver adds a fourth HDMI input for a dedicated room PC and outputs 4K/60 scaled video to the room display. Up to six USB devices (including one USB 10Gbps port for cameras) are switched with the video sources. Available at Creation Networks.
Product Description
The UCS 504 integrates AV switching, USB device switching, signal extension, and scaling into a single kit for modern BYOM collaboration spaces. The transmitter (UCS T 503) installs under the table or in furniture; the receiver (UCS SR 501) mounts behind the display. A single shielded CATx cable carries video and USB 2.0 between transmitter and receiver; an optional USB cable extends USB 10Gbps for cameras. Auto-switching routes the active source to both the local monitor output on the transmitter and the room display via the receiver. The Vector 4K scaling receiver normalizes all sources to the display’s native resolution. USB breakaway switching allows USB devices — cameras, microphones — to remain connected to a dedicated PC while video from other inputs is shown on the display. CEC, RS-232, and IR display control eliminate the need for a separate control system in simple rooms. LockIt Plus cable lacing brackets secure HDMI and USB-C cables. - Vector 4K Scaling Receiver — Scales all sources to the room display’s native resolution; supports 4K/60 at 4:4:4; aspect ratio control (FILL or FOLLOW).
