Product Description

The EFX8 uses the GB30 mic preamp — the same design used in Soundcraft's larger LX7ii and GB Series professional consoles — providing transparent gain across a 55dB range with +22dB of headroom. The onboard effects section is powered by the Lexicon AudioDNA processor, the same chip used in the Lexicon MX400, offering 32 effects presets covering reverb, delay, chorus, and other programs including a karaoke preset. Tap tempo enables BPM-synchronized delay, and the user effects store function saves one custom preset for recall.

Each channel includes an FX send to route signal to the onboard effects bus, a 3-band EQ with swept mid (on mono inputs), and a TRS insert point for inline processing. The two stereo input channels feature 3-band EQ. A single configurable auxiliary bus handles monitor sends or external processing. RCA phono stereo inputs and record outputs connect consumer playback sources. Ten-segment LED output metering and a headphone output with level control complete the feature set.
