Product Overview
The Eaton PDUMNH30AT2 is a 2.9kW single-phase 30A ATS and monitored PDU built for network IT applications, small computer rooms, and equipment rack deployments that need both redundant power and real-time remote visibility. It combines 24 NEMA 5-15/20R outlets and one NEMA L5-30R outlet with dual L5-30P inputs, automatic transfer switching, and a built-in network interface for monitoring voltage, frequency, and load levels. TAA-compliant construction makes this monitored ATS PDU eligible for GSA Schedule and other federal procurement contracts, in addition to standard commercial data center and server room deployments.
Product Description
This 2U rack-mount PDU distributes network-grade power to rack equipment while providing real-time current metering, remote power monitoring, and automatic transfer switching in a single unit. Twenty-four NEMA 5-15/20R 120V outlets and one NEMA L5-30R outlet distribute AC power to a mix of standard rack devices and higher-draw equipment, while dual 10-foot (3.1-meter) power cords with NEMA L5-30P inputs connect to separate primary and secondary mains circuits, backup generators, UPS systems, or utility power grids — including out-of-phase sources. Dynamic solid-state automatic transfer switching (ATS) allows the PDU to switch to the secondary source within 1-5 milliseconds should the primary fail or become unstable, helping ensure connected equipment operates without interruption. An on-board ATS processor continuously evaluates the power quality of both input sources and prevents switching if the secondary source is unavailable or of lower quality than the primary. The built-in LX Platform network management card, branded WEBCARDLX, is HTML5-based and enables full remote access for PDU status monitoring and email notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet, or SSH. Integrators can also use Tripp Lite's PowerAlert Device Manager (PADM20) for enhanced remote management, including customizable dashboard graphs, and PowerAlert Element Manager (PAEM) for expanding maintenance functions across large installations, including firmware update checks and configuration backup/restoration. A three-digit LED display shows measured or calculated amperage, kilowatt, and voltage values at a glance, with 1% billing-grade current monitoring accuracy to help maintain load levels well below maximum capacity and keep total cost of ownership low. The all-metal housing mounts into 2U of rack space using included hardware, or can be secured to a wall or under a counter, with cord retention brackets helping organize connected power cords. The unit's TAA compliance makes it eligible for GSA Schedule and other federal procurement contracts, in addition to standard commercial deployments.
