Product Overview
The Eaton PDUMH30NET is a switched rack PDU delivering 2.9kW of single-phase power with remote, per-outlet control for data center and server room deployments. Designed for integrators who need granular power management, it lets administrators turn on, turn off, or reboot power to individual outlets without a site visit. With 16 individually controllable NEMA 5-15/20R outlets and a network-managed interface, this switched PDU is built for facilities that need remote power monitoring across a growing IT footprint. The horizontal 2U form factor mounts cleanly into a standard 19-inch rack.
Product Description
The PDUMH30NET switched PDU gives IT and facilities teams full remote control over rack-level power without requiring hands-on access to the equipment. Each of the 16 NEMA 5-15/20R outlets can be switched independently, allowing a technician to reboot a hung server or lock out an unused outlet from anywhere on the network. The included cord retention brackets keep connected power cords seated in place, reducing the risk of an accidental disconnect during routine rack work. A 10-foot power cord terminating in a NEMA L5-30P plug connects the unit to a compatible AC source, generator, or protected UPS.
Network management runs through a built-in, Java-free HTML5-based LX Platform interface, giving administrators secure web browser access alongside SNMP, telnet, and SSH support for status monitoring and email notifications. The PDU auto-senses 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connections for straightforward integration into an existing management network, and it supports a broad set of protocols including IPv4, IPv6, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMPv1-v3, FTP, DHCP, BOOTP, and NTP. A built-in digital ammeter reports real-time current draw per load bank and total connected load, helping data center staff keep utilization safely below maximum capacity. Optional EnviroSense2 modules add environmental monitoring capability for facilities that also want temperature and humidity visibility at the rack. The PDUMH30NET mounts in 2U of rack space using the included hardware, or under a counter with user-supplied screws.
