This 600VA UPS with USB for small office network protection provides ten NEMA 5-15R outlets in a compact ABS housing, giving it enough outlet count for a router, modem, small switch, and a couple of low-draw peripherals on a single unit. Standby topology switches to battery only when input power is lost or falls outside acceptable range, which keeps the unit simple and affordable for lighter-duty applications compared to line-interactive designs used in AV racks. The user-replaceable VRLA battery (RBC36H) means the unit doesn't need to be discarded when the battery eventually wears out, extending its useful life as a battery backup for router and modem installations. EMI/RFI filtering and built-in surge suppression protect connected electronics from line noise and voltage spikes even when the unit isn't running on battery. USB connectivity with HID support allows a connected PC or single-board media player to run monitoring software for automatic, unattended shutdown ahead of a battery depletion event.
