Product Description

Like other members of the Eaton G4 metered input PDU family, the EVMI4609X mounts in the 0U vertical rail position of a server rack, keeping all horizontal U space available for active equipment. It accepts a 460P9W three-phase input on a 10 ft cord — longer than the -06 variant six ft cord — which gives integrators more routing flexibility when the electrical panel or receptacle is positioned farther from the rack. Output is distributed across 24 IEC C13 and 18 IEC C39 receptacles, supporting a broad mix of servers, network switches, and AV/IT equipment in a single rack.

Input metering via the Ethernet-connected Gigabit Network Module reports voltage, current, and power draw at the PDU level, helping IT and facilities teams monitor circuit loading and plan capacity in dense data center and server room environments. Since this is a metered-input (not switched) PDU, it does not provide remote outlet control — it is intended for installations where power visibility is the priority rather than remote power cycling.

The unit is rated for a wide 0° to 60°C operating range and is built on the same platform as the rest of the EVMI G4 lineup, making it a dependable option for enterprise and colocation server rooms.
