Built for both indoor and outdoor network equipment, the B110-SP-CAT-OD2 supports 1 Gbps Cat5e/6 connections and both mid-span and end-span PoE, making it compatible with the wide majority of PoE-powered devices used in security, wireless, and networking installations. Its 110 punch-down termination integrates with standard structured cabling practices, and the unit is IEC compliant and TAA compliant for use in regulated commercial and government projects.
The housing's IP68 rating means the surge protector is fully protected against dust ingress and can endure immersion in 1.5 meters of water for up to 60 minutes without damage or performance decline, a level of protection well suited to rooftop, exterior wall, or underground enclosure installations.
