Product Description
Built for workstation environments, the AVR900U includes a USB port that is HID-PDC compliant, supporting standard operating system-level UPS monitoring and safe shutdown software on connected PCs. A single-line telephone/DSL surge suppression jack protects modem and DSL connections from surge damage alongside the AC outlets, and a space-saving right-angle input plug reduces the clearance needed behind a desk or equipment cart.
The unit provides 12 total outlets — six battery/surge-protected outlets for equipment that needs backup power during an outage, and six additional surge-only outlets for peripherals like monitors or printers that do not require battery runtime. This split-outlet design lets users prioritize battery capacity for the PC and networking gear that must stay online during a short outage, while still providing surge protection to secondary devices.
