The 15-foot AC line cord provides routing flexibility to reach outlets from equipment positioned away from a wall receptacle, which is useful in network closets or workbench areas with limited nearby power.
Unfiltered electrical pass-through makes the 602-15 well suited to distributing alternate waveform UPS or generator power, since some filtered power strips can interact poorly with modified sine wave sources.
