Product Overview

The Draper Acumen XL V is a surface-mounted, tab-tensioned motorized projection screen built for large-venue commercial installations. This 161" diagonal HDTV model supports image widths up to 18' (5.5 m) and is available in your choice of viewing surface, voltage, and motor option below.

Product Description

Acumen XL V extends the Acumen platform to large-venue sizes while remaining a surface-mounted screen rather than a ceiling-recessed one, so it installs without a ceiling pocket. The tab-tensioned surface uses RF-welded tabs and a lateral tab-guide cable system to hold the image flat and wrinkle-free at large scale, keeping HDTV content geometrically accurate for auditoriums, houses of worship, and large all-hands rooms.

The streamlined extruded-aluminum case measures 9 1/4" high by 8 1/8" deep, finished in white powder coat as standard (black available on request), with a removable fascia for direct access to the roller and motor during service. It ships with a built-in low-voltage controller and wall switch as standard, and integrates with third-party control systems such as Crestron and Control4. Floating mounting brackets and ceiling suspension brackets are included, so the same unit can be wall- or ceiling-mounted without ordering separate hardware.
