The Saros PD4T pairs a 4 in. polypropylene woofer with a ring-mode-decoupled cloth surround and a wide-dispersion, horn-loaded 0.79 in. titanium dome tweeter for clear midrange, controlled bass, and crisp high-end. Optimized dual front ports enhance low-frequency response, and a 2 kHz crossover blends the drivers across a 60 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB) frequency response with a 110-degree nominal conical coverage pattern. Power handling is 100 W program at 8 ohms, with a sensitivity of 85 dB at 1 W/1 m. The 30 W transformer offers multiple taps (1.875 W to 30 W at 70V; 3.75 W to 30 W at 100V) selectable via a recessed, screwdriver-adjustable rotary switch on the baffle. The enclosure is glass fiber reinforced ABS with a UL 94V-0 flame rating, a paintable textured finish, and a magnetically held zero-bezel steel grille with a safety tether. A 4-pin detachable terminal block with screw-down flanges and a weather boot supports parallel wiring for multi-speaker runs.
