Product Overview
The Crestron HZ2-SWEX-GLASS-B is a Horizon 2 in-wall relay-based switch with infiNET EX wireless communication, finished in Black Glass with custom laser engraving. It provides on/off switching for incandescent, magnetic low voltage, tungsten-halogen, electronic ballast, and motor loads up to 10 A over the infiNET EX 2.4 GHz mesh network.
Product Description
The HZ2-SWEX-GLASS-B is electrically identical to the Brushed Brass variant, differing only in its high-gloss Black Glass finish and the engraving process. Custom button artwork in any of Style 1–6 is laser-etched at order; files must be submitted via Impress SW, the Crestron Home app, D3Pro, or Crestron Home OS Configurator. The switch does not include an airgap switch. Neutral wire and HZ2-FP-G faceplate (sold separately) are required. For ordering, visit creationnetworks.net.

- Is this functionally identical to the Brushed Brass switch?
- Yes. The HZ2-SWEX-GLASS-B has the same electrical specifications as the HZ2-SWEX-BR-BRASS. The differences are the finish (Black Glass vs. Brushed Brass metal) and the resulting depth measurement (1.89 in. vs. 1.83 in.).
- When must I submit engraving files?
- Engraving artwork must be provided at time of order through Impress SW, Crestron Home app, D3Pro, or CHO Configurator. This is a made-to-order product.
- Can I mix Black Glass switches with Black Glass dimmers in the same installation?
- Yes. The HZ2-SWEX-GLASS-B shares the same Black Glass finish family as the HZ2-DIMEX-GLASS-B, HZ2-DIMUEX Glass, and HZ2-DIMLVEX Glass variants, allowing a consistent look across all device types in a space.
