The Crestron HZ2-KPEX-GLASS-B is a Horizon 2 in-wall programmable keypad with infiNET EX wireless communication, featuring a custom-engraved Black Glass finish. It provides nine fully programmable push buttons for scene, source, and system control within a Crestron automation environment, requiring a companion HZ2 dimmer or switch for any associated load control.
Product Description
The HZ2-KPEX-GLASS-B is electrically identical to the Brushed Brass variant, with a premium Black Glass finish applied to the button assembly and housing. Custom laser-etched button artwork in any of Style 1–6 must be provided at time of order via Impress SW, the Crestron Home app, D3Pro, or Crestron Home OS Configurator. The keypad includes an airgap switch and built-in photosensor for automatic backlight adjustment. Neutral wire and HZ2-FP-G faceplate (sold separately) are required. - Yes. The HZ2-KPEX-GLASS-B is electrically identical to the HZ2-KPEX-BR-BRASS. The differences are the finish (Black Glass vs. Brushed Brass metal) and the resulting depth (1.89 in. vs. 1.83 in.).
- Can this keypad be used without any companion load-control device?
- Yes. It can be used as a pure scene and system control keypad communicating wirelessly to the Crestron system without any wired companion device. The Remote terminal is only needed for wired 3-/4-way multi-location load switching.
- Does the engraved version take longer to ship?
