Product Overview

The Crestron HD-TXC-4KZ-101 is a DM Lite 4K60 4:4:4 transmitter that extends HDMI, RS-232, and IR signals over a single CATx cable to a compatible receiver or DMPS Lite switcher. It supports 4K60 with full 4:4:4 color sampling, HDR formats, and HDCP 2.3, plus bidirectional control pass-through for device automation. The transmitter is designed for point-to-point AV distribution in conference rooms, classrooms, and presentation environments. It pairs directly with the matching HD-RXC-4KZ-101 receiver for a complete extension link.

Product Description

The HD-TXC-4KZ-101 takes an HDMI input and converts it to the DM Lite format for transmission over a CAT5e or higher twisted pair cable. For 1080p, WUXGA, and 2K signals, distances up to 230 ft (70 m) are supported; UHD and 4K signals are supported up to 130 ft (40 m). Beyond video and audio, the transmitter carries bidirectional RS-232 up to 115.2k baud and bidirectional IR up to 60 kHz, allowing a control system to manage a remote display or source device across the same link. HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision metadata pass through along with CEC and EDID for dependable handshaking. The HDMI input is DVI and Dual-Mode DisplayPort interface compatible with the appropriate adapter. When paired with a DMPS Lite switcher, the transmitter can be configured and controlled through the switcher web interface with control system and .AV Framework support. It draws power from the remote receiver or DMPS Lite switcher over the link. For the complete pairing and power matrix, refer to the Crestron data sheet.
