The Crestron DM-NVX-D200 is a 4K60 4:2:0 AV-over-IP decoder with a built-in video scaler — the key differentiator over the DM-NVX-D20. Like the D20 it receives E20/E10 Series streams (and 4K60 4:4:4 encoder streams at supported resolutions), but it adds an integrated scaler that automatically scales the decoded stream to the native resolution of the connected display, eliminating a separate scaler or display scaling step. In DM NVX systems where E20 or E10 encoded streams are distributed to displays with varied native resolutions — conference room monitors, lobby screens, digital signage displays — the decoder must either output the raw stream resolution and rely on the display’s internal scaler (often lower quality), or use a separate external scaler between the decoder and display. The DM-NVX-D200 eliminates that external scaler by integrating it into the decoder itself: the HDMI output automatically scales the decoded 4K60 4:2:0 stream to the connected display’s native resolution using Crestron’s built-in scaler. This simplifies system design, reduces rack space, and eliminates an HDMI conversion point. RS-232, IR, and CEC device control extend from the control system to the display and room devices at the decoder position. HDCP 2.3, AES-128, 802.1X, Active Directory, TLS, and HTTPS maintain enterprise security compliance at every decoder location.
