Product Description
Crestron Home systems require a gateway device to connect the local Crestron Home hub to Crestron’s cloud services for remote access, push notifications, and app connectivity. The CEN-GW1 fills this role — it connects to the local network alongside the CNXHUB and establishes the secure cloud connection that enables homeowners to control their Crestron Home system remotely via the Crestron Home app, and enables dealers to access the system remotely for diagnostics and configuration adjustments. Without the CEN-GW1 gateway, Crestron Home remote access and cloud-based features are unavailable. In Crestron Home dealer-installed systems, the CEN-GW1 is typically specified as standard equipment alongside the CNXHUB hub to ensure full remote access and cloud service capabilities from installation day one.
