Product Overview
The Crestron CAEN-4X2 is a 4-module high by 2-module wide steel automation enclosure designed to house Crestron CLX Series lighting control modules, DIN-AP4, or DIN-AP4-R control systems. Suitable for surface or flush wall-mount installation, this enclosure supports both centralized and distributed lighting control configurations in residential and commercial facilities.
Product Description
The CAEN-4X2 provides a clean, manageable installation environment with separate high- and low-voltage compartments, pre-drilled mounting positions, and abundant provisions for wire termination. Multiple electrical knockouts accommodate field-installed conduit entries. A single Cresnet cable connects an entire network of distributed enclosures, supporting keypads, touch screens, wall box dimmers, shade controllers, and other peripherals. Convection cooling keeps operation silent and reliable. A vented front cover is included. The 16-gauge galvanized steel backbox is UL and C-UL listed for US and Canada.
