Featuring the Brooklyn II module, the DAN-1 allows up to 64 by 64 channels of digital audio into and out of a Tesira system using the Dante protocol from Audinate, with up to 32 by 32 simultaneous flows. It is an AES67-enabled Dante endpoint with dual RJ-45 connections for primary and secondary networks, and explicit Dante input and output blocks are available in Tesira configuration software for signal routing. The card can be factory or field installed and can coexist with AVB-1 and SCM-1 cards, making the Tesira platform a powerful protocol-bridging system. It is RoHS compliant, AES grounded, and covered by the Biamp five-year warranty.
