Product Overview
Organisations standardised on Microsoft Teams still have to put a scheduling panel on the wall, and CS-T10-WM-L+ is the First Light wall-mount Cisco Room Navigator for that job. Cisco certifies the Room Navigator both as a Microsoft Teams Rooms Console and as a Microsoft Teams Panel, so the same hardware serves as the room-booking display outside the door and, in a table configuration, as the in-room console. It carries a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 capacitive touch display and a 360-degree viewable multicolor LED status bar, and runs on PoE 802.3af Class 0 over a single Cat drop.
Product Description
The practical benefit of dual certification is procurement simplicity. A site running Microsoft Teams Rooms on some endpoints and Cisco RoomOS on others does not need two panel SKUs, two spares pools or two sets of mounting hardware. Cisco lists Room Series, Board Series (Board S, Board Pro, Board Pro G2) and Desk Series as compatible devices on RoomOS 9.14.3 or later.
For a Teams Panel deployment the LED bar is the feature that earns its keep. Multicolor and viewable through 360 degrees, it reads red, yellow or green from along a corridor, which is what stops people opening doors on live meetings. The panel itself shows the booking state and allows ad-hoc claims and extensions at the door.
Network design follows normal enterprise practice. The panel supports 802.1X authentication, HTTPS and SSH management, SRTP with AES-128-GCM or AES-256-GCM, and WPA3-Enterprise with CCMP128, so it can sit on a segmented VLAN under the same access policy as the rest of the room hardware. Browse comparable panels in room scheduling and the endpoints they front in meeting room bundles.
The wall unit ships with its own bracket, sticker and template and measures 2.8 x 9.53 x 6.3 in. (6.9 x 24.2 x 16.4 cm) at 2.03 lb (0.920 kg). Other in-room control hardware is grouped under device and room control.
Key Features
- Microsoft Teams Rooms certification — Cisco states the Room Navigator is certified as both a Microsoft Teams Rooms Console and a Microsoft Teams Panel, so the same panel deploys in Teams-standardised estates.
- 360-degree multicolor LED status light — The wall-mount panel's status light is visible from down a corridor, so passers-by can see whether a room is free or booked without reading the screen.
- 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 capacitive touch panel — The higher resolution than the Touch 10's 1280 x 800 keeps room-booking and call-control layouts legible at arm's length.
- PoE 802.3af Class 0 power — A single Cat cable carries both power and data, so the panel needs no local mains outlet at the table or beside the door.
- Enterprise network security — 802.1X authentication, HTTPS and SSH management, SRTP with AES-128-GCM or AES-256-GCM and WPA3-Enterprise with CCMP128 are documented for the panel.
- Built-in environmental sensors — Temperature, humidity and TVOC air-quality readings are reported to Cisco Control Hub alongside acoustic data from the paired endpoint, giving facilities teams workspace telemetry without extra sensors.
- Wide Cisco device compatibility — Cisco lists support across Room Series, Board Series (Board S, Board Pro, Board Pro G2) and Desk Series, so one control-panel SKU covers a mixed estate.
- Anti-glare, anti-fingerprint surface — The finish reduces visible smudging and reflections on a panel that is touched constantly in a bright room.
