Product Overview

For a new fit-out where the wall boxes are still being set out, CS-T10-WM-L- is the First Light wall-mount Cisco Room Navigator and needs exactly one thing from the electrical contractor: a single Cat drop to each meeting-room door. The panel is powered by PoE 802.3af Class 0 and carries a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 capacitive touch display plus a 360-degree viewable multicolor LED status bar. It ships with its own mounting bracket, sticker and installation template, so no third-party mount is required. This is current Cisco product, not end-of-sale stock.

Product Description

The design question on a wall-panel rollout is where the Ethernet terminates. Cisco gives the wall version one Ethernet (RJ-45) 100 Mbps port that can be used either for the external network or for direct pairing to the endpoint, which means the panel can either sit on the building LAN as a managed device or hang off the codec in the room. Both are valid; the choice usually falls out of how the security team wants scheduling panels segmented.

Mechanically the wall unit is 2.8 x 9.53 x 6.3 in. (6.9 x 24.2 x 16.4 cm) and 2.03 lb (0.920 kg) as Cisco prints the figures. Cisco does not publish a VESA pattern for this version, so mark out from the supplied template. Allow a service loop behind the bracket: the microUSB service port and the factory reset pinhole are both on the unit and are easier to reach if the panel can be lifted clear of the wall box.

Once commissioned, the panel does more than book rooms. Its temperature, humidity and TVOC sensors feed Control Hub alongside noise and RT60 data from the paired endpoint, which turns a booking rollout into a workspace-telemetry rollout at no extra hardware cost. Specify the panels from the room scheduling collection and the displays and codecs they front from video conference systems.

Cisco certifies the Room Navigator as a Microsoft Teams Rooms Console and a Microsoft Teams Panel, and lists compatibility with Room Series, Board Series and Desk Series endpoints on RoomOS 9.14.3 or later. Full control-surface options are grouped under device and room control.

Key Features

  • PoE 802.3af Class 0 power — A single Cat cable carries both power and data, so the panel needs no local mains outlet at the table or beside the door.
  • 360-degree multicolor LED status light — The wall-mount panel's status light is visible from down a corridor, so passers-by can see whether a room is free or booked without reading the screen.
  • 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 capacitive touch panel — The higher resolution than the Touch 10's 1280 x 800 keeps room-booking and call-control layouts legible at arm's length.
  • Built-in environmental sensors — Temperature, humidity and TVOC air-quality readings are reported to Cisco Control Hub alongside acoustic data from the paired endpoint, giving facilities teams workspace telemetry without extra sensors.
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms certification — Cisco states the Room Navigator is certified as both a Microsoft Teams Rooms Console and a Microsoft Teams Panel, so the same panel deploys in Teams-standardised estates.
  • Enterprise network security — 802.1X authentication, HTTPS and SSH management, SRTP with AES-128-GCM or AES-256-GCM and WPA3-Enterprise with CCMP128 are documented for the panel.
  • Wide Cisco device compatibility — Cisco lists support across Room Series, Board Series (Board S, Board Pro, Board Pro G2) and Desk Series, so one control-panel SKU covers a mixed estate.
  • Anti-glare, anti-fingerprint surface — The finish reduces visible smudging and reflections on a panel that is touched constantly in a bright room.
