Pandoras Box Server unites rendering technology with intuitive media and show control in a single certified appliance, removing the risk of self-built playback PCs in live environments. The render engine performs real-time compositing in 3D, enabling projection mapping onto irregular geometry without pre-rendering content per surface. Uncompressed video playback is supported at up to 4K and 60 fps, preserving content integrity from grading suite to screen. The PK2 configuration provides 7.5 TB of RAID-0 SSD storage with a separate OS disk — sized for typical show timelines — and shares the dual Intel Xeon, Quadro GPU, and 10GbE platform of the R5 line. Up to 8 DisplayPort outputs feed projectors and LED processors directly, an optional sync board genlocks multi-server systems, and optional video input and audio output boards extend live capture and audio routing.
