The Christie 140-163101-01 is a set of five coarse dust filters for Christie Jazz Series 1DLP laser projectors. Christie recommends them when a projector is exposed to more than typical indoor dust, dirt or sand, to keep it performing at its best. The set ships without a frame and fits the Jazz Series filter frame, sold separately.
What does the Christie 140-163101-01 do?
Jazz projectors are built to run filter-free in normal indoor conditions. In dusty venues, temporary event sites or spaces near construction, these coarse dust filters sit in the Jazz filter frame on the projector's intake and capture dirt and sand before it is drawn into the projector.
The set is compatible with all Jazz Series models, including the Christie 4K1600-JS, DWU1800-JS, 4K2100-JS and DWU2400-JS. Filter life depends on conditions; in harsh environments Christie recommends checking filters every few weeks. If the venue also uses haze or smoke, choose the Jazz fog filter set instead.
