The Chief WBAU is a universal interactive board adapter kit used with the Chief WBM2 wall mount to support SMART 685 and 690 boards as well as many non-SMART interactive boards. It is built for classrooms, training rooms, and commercial meeting spaces that mount interactive whiteboards. The kit captures around the bezel of the board and supports up to 125 lbs.
Product Description
The WBAU universal adapter kit extends the reach of the Chief WBM2 interactive board wall mount to a wide range of boards beyond the SMART lineup. It attaches to the WBM2 uprights and captures around the bezel of the interactive board, holding it securely without requiring board-specific brackets. The kit supports SMART 685 and 690 boards plus many other interactive boards, including Promethean 100, 300, and 500 ActivBoards, Polyvision Eno Classic, and TS series boards. It accommodates boards from 39" to 58" tall and 1.1" to 2.7" deep, covering most common interactive whiteboard dimensions. The assembly carries a weight capacity of 125 lbs, leaving headroom for heavier boards. This versatility makes the WBAU a practical fit for classrooms, training rooms, and multi-purpose rooms that standardize on a single wall mount across mixed board brands.
